YOUR GUIDED TRIP is offered at a competitive price, yet will generate a charitable donation (and tax letter) for a great cause. The tour guides are volunteers and donors for this cause as well.
YOUR COST INCLUDES a donation to support future high school students in Michael Van Krey's Japanese classes to get this chance of a lifetime to experience Japan and open their eyes to a new culture and big opportunities. Students are selected to become group members of these trips based on the likelihood of the impact on their learning. We strive to ensure that their ability to pay is not a barrier to participation.
EACH BIENNIAL TRIP that Michael and Junko coordinate requires significant fund raising. Your participation in this trip will contribute to support deserving students who need help funding their trips.
